 Jamahal Hill Current Status

Hill is now the UFC light heavyweight Champion. Prochazka, who was the champion before, is hurt and will probably come back in June.

The UFC may make Hill fight for the title again before Prochazka is back, but there are not many other fighters who are good enough.

Some other fighters, like Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz, are not happy with the boss of the UFC and may not get opportunity for the title shot.

Aleksandar Rakic and Anthony Smith need to win more big fights. It would be best to wait for Hill to fight Prochazka.

UFC stats about Jamahal Hill

  • Paul Craig – “I got to speak to Jamahal after the fight, as two athletes who have done the war and done the battle, then I saw how real this guy is. And then we started to find common ground because we’re both fathers, we both work hard, we both have the same goal in mind, and we both love martial arts in its purest form.”
  • Jon Jones – “His style is a lot more boxing-based, looks amazing.”
  • Adrain Yanez – “Hill… is a damn monster!!!”
  • Luke Thomas- “Jamahal Hill is a SNIPER.”
  • Belal Muhammad – “ Jamahal Hill is gonna be a champion he got power.”
  • Anthony Smith – “You know, I was really impressed with Jamahal. He’s very technical on his feet, he’s strong, he’s an athlete, he’s fast. You show him something, you drill through it a couple of times, and then an hour later I see him using it on someone else almost perfectly.”
